this may sound crazy, but we created lo-cal because we wanted to change the way people eat forever.


There’s a lot of high-calorie/low-nutrition options out there. We wanted to create the opposite of that with a concept that made eating better easy. We call it “calorie-conscious” meaning every calorie in every dish would be worth eating.


We started by making a few rules: Use the freshest, healthiest ingredients. Source them from the nearest, most sustainable farms. Learn (or invent) low-calorie cooking techniques. Never sacrifice flavor.


Eating well not only benefits your body, but soothes the mind and lifts your mood. We hope you enjoy whatever you choose, because in a way, there are no wrong choices. All of them are delicious and all of them count.
